Scope

This policy applies to the Rank and Rent Keyword Research application and this informational website.

Information accessed

With the account holder’s authorisation, the application may access Google Ads account identifiers and historical keyword planning metrics, including search volume estimates, competition indicators and bid ranges. Google authorisation may involve access tokens and refresh tokens. The application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive or personal contacts.

Purpose and use

Information is used only to conduct internal research into local search demand and business opportunities, and to maintain the authorised connection. It is not sold or used to profile individual consumers.

Storage and security

Authorisation credentials should be held in access-controlled storage and not published in website files or source repositories. Research outputs may be retained for internal analysis. Access is restricted to the application operator. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Sharing

Google account data is not sold or shared for advertising purposes. Service providers involved in secure hosting or application operation may process data only as necessary to provide those services, subject to their applicable terms.

Revoking access

You can revoke the application’s access at Google Account — Third-party connections. Revocation stops future authorised access, although previously generated research outputs may remain until deleted.

Retention and requests
